When he was running for President, candidate Obama openly admitted his agenda for the War on Coal, stating "So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it's just that it will bankrupt them because they're going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that's being emitted."
It's one of the few promises President Obama has kept.
Alpha Natural Resources will have to close eight mines in Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania thanks to the endless regulations and taxes imposed by the Obama Adminstration's EPA.
That's 1,200 jobs senselessly killed for a utopian agenda.
Congress MUST put a stop to the War on Coal. Enough is enough.

Congress: Stop Killing Coal Jobs
Dear [Decision Maker],
Alpha Natural Resources, a large mining firm, is immediately shutting down eight mines in Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. The heart of coal country is bleeding jobs and production, due to the deliberate energy-killing policies of the EPA. Americans can't afford higher energy prices or more job losses. Our government was never supposed to have the power to outlaw legal industries by regulation and intimidation. It's up to you to stand up and free America's energy industry from the planners.
Sincerely,[Your Name] [Your Address] [City, State ZIP]
