Stop the DMV from banning Uber in Virginia!

Untitled-1.png

The Virginia DMV is attempting to SHUT DOWN ride-sharing services Uber and Lyft.

The Virginia government is picking winners and losers, and hurting everyday citizens looking for safe and affordable rides. They are trying to protect the cab industry from competition.

Please send a message to Governor McAuliffe, DMV Commissioner Richard Holcomb, Attorney General Mark Herring, and Department of Transportation Secretary Aubrey Layne today. Let them know Virginia shouldn't be ruled by special interests.

Dear [Decision Maker],

The Cease and Desist letter the Virginia DMV sent to Uber and Lyft is reprehensible.

It is not the government's job to pick winners and losers in the market, and that is exactly what the DMV is doing.

The banning of ride-sharing only benefits a few crony special interests, and hurts everyday Virginia citizens.

I urge you to allow Uber and Lyft to operate, and stop picking favorites.

Sincerely,
