aa ryan murray.jpgDetails of the bipartisan budget deal are out and it’s as bad as we expected.

The Paul Ryan and Patty Murray budget deal actually increases spending in the short-term. The Ryan-Murray budget raises spending by $63 billion over the sequester spending caps we fought so hard for. And it raises "fees," a codeword for raising taxes.

This budget deal is a joke. We need real spending constraints and entitlement savings put in place now – not sometime in the future.

Call your Congressional Representative and demand a real budget that actually cuts spending or produces entitlement savings NOW.

Helpful Points:

- We need spending cuts now, and the Ryan-Murray budget deal fails to curtail spending in the short-term.

- The budget deal increases spending beyond current levels by $63 billion – fiscal conservatives fought too hard to let these spending caps go.

- Any budget deal that increases spending now without real entitlement savings is a betrayal.

- There is no guarantee that the long-term cuts will ever occur – any future Congress can repeal them.
